KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS vs KINGS XI PUNJAB Match Preview :
Indian Premier League season thirteen is just quarter games away to finish its tournament, after having clinching games in the double header weekend with bottom settled teams defeating the table toppers the proceedings of the week will kick start with Kolkata Knight Riders contending against Kings XI Punjab in Match 46 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on 26th October, Monday at 7:30pm.
Duo teams are coming into this fixture after defeating their contending teams in the fourth double header respectively with placing each of their side one above the other on the points table, having played 11 games each KKR won 6 games while KXIP won 5 games. In their preceding game KKR bowled very well against DC with Varun Chakravarthy picked 5 wickets and Pat Cummins picked 3 wickets and in the batting front Nitish Rana scored 81 off 53 balls team regained its form after facing massive defeat in hands of RCB.
On the other hand KXIP have played immensely well especially at the death-overs, their bowling has made it vulnerable for win with Arshdeep Singh and Chris Jordan picking 3 wickets each. KXIP have registered their four back to back wins and will be confident and have much morale boosting to their side while they come into this fixture.
In their previous meeting KKR defended KXIP by 2 runs in last ball thriller, as both the teams are firing on field it will be fascinating match whether KKR will retain its spot or KXIP will become equivalent to its opponent on points table.
